The Royal Tropical Institute (KIT) in Amsterdam is an independent center of knowledge and expertise in the areas of international and intercultural cooperation.  KIT operates internationally through development projects, scientific research and training, and also provides consultancy and information services.  Sustainable development and agriculture are two areas of KIT expertise.  The themes most relevant to agriculture will be found on the sustainable development page.
